I like how Kakashi isnt arrogant at all. He is comparing himself to a teenager Chunin, Shikamaru, without being haughty and casually telling Naruto that he is as smart as him. Even though in the previous episodes it was stated that Kakashi's IQ is even higher than Shikamaru's.

I think Shikamaru still surpasses kakashi in terms of IQ, what makes Kakashi unique is that he's experienced. He's like a better & more wise version of Sasuke (since he's the one who compared Sasuke to himself in Naruto)

I feel like they could've done these past 25 episodes in like 8-10 episodes bruh

He kept on telling Kakashi to hurry up even though he doesnt have enough combat experience in comparison to Kakashi so it wouldn't do him any good leaving Kakashi behind to fight alone because in the end he is going to need his sensei. He should listen to Kakashi sometimes as Deidara just wanted Naruto alone to chase after him and Naruto was falling into his trap the whole episode.
